Salon pricing is attending the salon. Venue pricing is for me attending the venue. Salon address: 25 London Road, Carlisle, CA1 2JZ
Travel Costs
Travel cost charge is worked out at £0.50 per mile for up to 30miles. Cost over 30miles will be priced by quotation.
Payment Terms
A £60 deposit is required to secure booking. This is non-refundable but fully redeemable against the balance this will need to be paid within 14days of receiving your quote and can be paid in cash, BACS or PayPal. Full payment for the wedding day must be paid in full at least 5 days before wedding date.
Group Discounts
I am willing to discuss the possibility of group discounts, depending on the size of wedding party.please contact me to discuss.
Cancellation Policy
If you decide to cancel your booking then you must contact me 2 weeks before. If cancellation is not received 2 weeks or more in advance the full payment is due.
FAQs
What does a FREE consultation involve?
An appointment will be made for us to meet face to face in salon to thoroughly discuss all hair and make-up (if required) ideas and go through all other requirements to build up a personal profile. For brides that are not in the area phone appointment will be made prior to this we would require head shots of all bridal party that are included in package. Hair must be loose and in natural state from this we will create a personalized profile and send via email with all images and requirements.
Do you do hair ups for other occasions?
Yes, we are happy to create hair styles for any special occasion from prom hair to annual Christmas parties. To find out for more please get in touch.
I would like wedding hair or makeup but not both is this possible?
Yes of course, as we have separate hair and makeup artists it is possible to book for either service.
What if I need to rearrange the wedding date?
You are more than welcome to rearrange the wedding date due to unforeseen circumstances, however if you have a new date in mind we will need to check if your hair or makeup artist is available. Please see our terms and conditions for details.
When do I need to book the bridal trial?
We will contact you around 3 months before the wedding to arrange the trial for around 8-10 weeks before the wedding to arrange a trial date, as by this point most things will have been decided including dress style and colour schemes so the hair and makeup can be styled accordingly. If you have these things in place you are welcome to have the trial earlier. To book a trial for both our hair and makeup team on the same day please let the hair/make-up artist know well in advance any dates you have in mind so they can co-ordinate their diaries.
Do my bridesmaids need to have a trial?
We do recommend it but it is not essential, it just gives you peace of mind, to ensure the perfect balance for the photographs and that the wedding party are perfectly happy with the final result so every detail is covered for the wedding/event, so no little stresses to worry about.
What if I change my mind about my chosen look after the trial?
At the trial we will ensure that you love the look that has been chosen and will stay to trial as many styles as needed to ensure the final look feels perfect for you. However, if you decide after the trial you are not entirely happy with your look please contact us within 7 days to book a second trial. Please note any extra trials are payable.
Where does the trial take place and do you come to my location on the wedding day?
We would come to your location of choice both at trial and on the wedding day. The salon is a preferred location for trails although if you are not local, we can come to you for an extra fee.
What do I need to do to prepare for hair or makeup on the wedding day?
For your makeup application, if you can cleanse and moisturize your skin and possibly have eaten and brushed your teeth that will really help.
If you can freshly wash your hair either on the morning if oily or on the day before if normal/dry this will help with styling.
Avoid using any hair products or using any heat appliances as this can affect styling.
Please wear a robe/dressing gown or something that can be easily take off rather than over the head as this may affect the finished hair or makeup
